Hazel Green High School is a public high school in the Madison County School district. With a new addition to the high school and a new school year fast approaching, the school board asked Bostick Landscape Architects to design the landscape for a new courtyard that is the main entry for the students.
The courtyard opens to the gymnasium, and students and faculty can view it from the lunchroom. The design's goal was to meet the budget and give students an enjoyable place to congregate before and after school. With the quick turn-around and plant material chosen, the courtyard met the school board's goals and will significantly benefit the school as it grows.
