The city set out to create a centrally-located park within the Cummings Research Park area to help keep up with the demand for adult sports leagues in the area. As part of the design team, Bostick Landscape Architects (BLA) led the charge in laying out Dynetics Park's amenities, including two adult softball fields, two horseshoe pits, and two sand volleyball courts. These amenities offer the business league space to host events, freeing up scheduling conflicts at other facilities.
Within the park's core, the city placed a small amphitheater for employee functions or other community events. Around the perimeter, BLA developed an 18-hole frisbee golf course to take advantage of the terrain and water hazards on-site, creating a challenging but fun course for workers to play on a lunch break or an evening after work.
