Having outgrown her own home, Erin was looking for a new studio location that would provide a place to meet and photograph clients. She settled on a bungalow in the heart of the Medical District as the new home for Erin Cobb Photography. Bostick Landscape Architects (BLA) designed an arts and crafts style garden to accentuate the studio and provide Erin outdoor "rooms" for onsite shoots. BLA designed a large pergola space parents could sit under while allowing Erin to capture the children's' attention, creating the beautiful smiles she is known for.
The backyard garden has an entry arbor that invites you to enter and transports visitors into a garden space filled with lush perennial plantings, ornamental grasses, and year-round interest. BLA designed the front garden with a picket fence and gate to match the home's arts and crafts feel and lush perennials that extend to the street utilizing every inch of the property. This project extends the profession's reach by putting landscape architecture onto the walls of the clients' houses that Erin photographs.
