After being devastated by the tornadoes in 2011, this lakefront residence needed a new landscape. From a previously heavily treed lot, Bostick Landscape Architects transformed this lake house with a new native tree grove, meadows of grasses and wildflowers, and unique outdoor areas to enhance the owner's time at the lake.
With various areas throughout the landscape for gathering, BLA also created a new outdoor cooking area and fire pit between the main living quarters and the boathouse. BLA finished the bottom of the new pool in a dark color to reflect the sky and visually connect the lake and the pool.
